The Combilift company was founded by two great engineers, Robert Moffett and Martin McVicar. Between them, they had over 40 years of engineering experience when they established the company in the year 1998 within Monaghan, Ireland. In only over ten years, Combilift became a leader in the long handling market all around the world, delivering machines to more than 50 markets worldwide. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into numerous markets all around the world and utilizing their extensive knowledge and experience, McVicar and Moffett have made products which had sold 10,000 models by mid 2009 and are in high demand.

C-Series Combilifts are available in an array of mast options. Lift heights up to nine meters and lift capacities as much as 25,000 kilograms are available. Available engines are in diesel, battery or electric and LPG or gas and the C-Series Combilifts can operate within guided aisles as narrow as 210 centimetres wide.
Combilift Straddle Carriers offer the ability to carry oversized, heavy cargo such as fully loaded containers which weigh as much as 35 tons. These loads could be transported all over a work site or facility and the Combilift Straddle Carrier could lift fully loaded containers where needed, whether it be from the trailer to the ground, from the ground to the trailer, or from trailer to trailer. The SL-Series is a lot different from other side-loaders due to its ability to drive in four directions. This multi-directional steering is available with the cab on the right or on the left.
