Most mishaps are attributed to staff who are not trained. Employers are responsible for making sure that all workers who are utilizing the forklift are trained in safety and risks. Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't trained to operate the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a place that is visible all forklift safety procedures.
Rather than going through training because employees are required to, they must have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer should help workers know the significance of correct training. Let them understand that they can injure or kill not only themselves, but other people, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that your workers undertake training seriously.
