Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish all your requirements, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being designed and developed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
