End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space required to use these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications that need regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
Lots of companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments can arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All standard reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The forks also include a hydraulic system which allows the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
