Rough terrain forklifts have been produced by CareLift Equipment, ever since 1962. Each day the company strives to help all their consumers reach their goals and deliver value since they know the bottom line is dependability and performance.
There are 2 general types of boom lifts. These units are straight boom lifts and articulated boom lifts. Often, these units are powered hydraulically. Most often straight booms are the ideal alternative for jobs that require a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment is capable of rotating three hundred sixty degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom can be raised vertically to below horizontal. Because the operator is able to steer and maneuver the vehicle while the boom is fully extended, it is a really versatile equipment. These units are available in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, as well as propane, gas or diesel configurations.
Articulated boom lifts are utilized for lifting loads up and over obstacles and gain access to areas which were otherwise not accessible. These lift units carry out jobs that straight telescopic booms cannot complete. These lifts are almost identical to the straight boom lift in the majority of aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are various articulation points on the boom in order to allow it to bend in a range of different directions allowing it to move around any objects easily within the work site.
To be able to maintain stability whilst the boom lift is fully extended, several heavy-duty boom lifts come equipped with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra confidence and safety. Correct training is necessary before using boom lifts so as to guarantee the operator, the jobsite and everyone working in the vicinity stays safe.
Boom lifts enable jobs that used to require many more man power to be done in a much shorter time period. These machines have greatly increased production and have revolutionized the material handling industry.
